Who We Are

A Unique Opportunity for Breakthrough Animal-Human Encounters

The brainchild of Jenny Vidbel and Guillaume Dufresnoy, The Al & Joyce Vidbel Foundation, Inc. was developed with one idea in mind: to bring animals and humans together in mutual respect, love, and trust. We see at first hand the incredible positive impact on humans when they are surrounded by horses, ponies, goats, pigs, dogs, and we were determined to share this experience, particularly with those whose physical, intellectual, or developmental impairments can be a barrier to interaction with animals.

Sharing the experience with siblings, parents and caregivers
Just as important is the effect on the families and caregivers of our foundation program participants. Seeing their loved ones communicate with the animals, sometimes for the very first time, provides an extraordinary release of tension, and an outburst of joy that few other experiences can provide.

Our programs open our farm to children on the autism spectrum and differently-abled people of all ages to name a few.

Some of the Activities Our Non-Profit Provides:

  • Animal encounters. Pet, feed, and talk to horses, ponies, dogs, pigs, and more.
  • Dog agility demonstrations.
  • Nature walks.
  • Pony rides.
  • Scenic setting. We have picnic tables set up for guests to relax and observe our goats and horses.
