Jasper
Meet beautiful Jasper… A stunning Friesian gelding in his late teens and one of the sweetest boys in our herd, Jasper came to the homestead after his wonderful human passed away from cancer. His family knew that Jasper was too young and full of life to simply retire. Jenny and the Homestead were a perfect match. We know how important it is to provide Jasper with fun jobs and challenges that match his extreme elegance as well as giving him plenty of the human connection he so desires.

Bridget, Sophie and Sheriff
Meet Bridget, Sophie and Sheriff! Sheriff, an 8-year-old Terrier mix who was adopted and became a star performer in Jenny’s team. Now Sheriff enjoys being retired and serving as the unofficial mascot of the Homestead. He is happiest meeting and greeting new friends or just relaxing in someone’s arms. If Jenny has a treat that meets his standards, he might even perform a trick or two….

Bridget and Sophie came to the Homestead as puppies in 2009. They too accomplished mega stardom as part of Jenny’s performance team. In addition to learning many fun tricks and routines Bridget and Sophie have appeared on The Katie Couric show, and performed at Lincoln Center in front of stars almost as big as themselves: Jimmy Fallon, Steve Martin, Bob Dylan, John Legend and Robert De Niro to name just a few. Bridget and Sophie are still very excited about showing off their talents and are never picky about their treats: they only require lots of love and cuddles

Franky
And here is Franky. Franky is one of our favorite senior horses. He is a mighty stallion who stands only 29 inches tall. Although he is one of the smallest horses in our herd of 30, he maintains his status as one of the strongest leaders. What is so very special about our little fireball is that when approached by humans outside of the herd, he turns into a lovable little marshmallow. Franky has lived here at the homestead his whole life (over 20 years).
